ACDC participated between 16 – 22 of February 2009 in a Partenership Building Activity in Prijedor, Bosnia & Herzegovina.
The activity was called “Made in Europe – Meet in SEE! Partnership Building Activity (PBA) for future cooperation within the Youth in Action Programme” and was organized by Udruzenje Gradjana Mreza
Description: Partnership Building Activity (PBA) for future cooperation within the Youth in Action Programme realized in close cooperation between Udruzenje Gradjana Mreza and its international partner promoters brought together representatives from programme and partner countries from SEE to create and build stable partnerships for common and future cooperation in the frame of Youth in Action (Youth Exchanges, Training and Networking activities within Action 3.1). The main aim of PBA was to motivate and educate young people from all over Europe to realize own cooperation and activities on international and intercultural level within Youth in Action Programme. Trainers team have presented to participants four the main priorities in Youth in Action Programme as a cultural diversity, involvement of young people with fewer opportunity, active participation of young people and European citizenship.
The objectives of PBA were:
- to provide info about Youth in Action Programme
- to get to know with possibilities of cooperation between programme and partner countries from SEE within Action 3.1
- to communicate, to share and to develop the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude to organize intercultural youth project
- to bring together people working with young people in order to create new project ideas within Action 3.1
For this PBA were active two international trainers from Serbia and Germany. Our main role was to help participants to make contacts and to work on developing their ideas for the future cooperation.The methods of PBA were different workshops including exercises, simulations, role plays, inputs, presentations and discussions, NGO fair of partner promoters, best practice projects and creating the concrete project ideas, team building games and excursion.
Target groups of this PBA were youth workers, youth leaders and people that are actively involved in youth work activities.
The participants were from Serbia, Italy, Holland, Romania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Mazedonia, Spain, Portugal and Czech Republic. In total we had group of 19 participants.
